Conjunctivitis is defined as inflammation of conjunctiva.
It may be due to bacteria,virus or parasitic infections.
conjunctiva becomes injected.
- Mucopurulent discharge from conjunctiva.
- lacrimation from one or both eyes noticed.
- The eye ointment should be applied.
- Normal saline can be used for flushing of purulent discharge from eyes.
- Antibiotics is required for bacterial infections.
