- Sunken eyes
- Convulsion
- Collapse
- Overexertion/ Physical stress
- Respiratory tract infections
- Anhidrosis horses are more prone for heat stroke .
- Unfit horses
- Obesity
- Horses prone for heat stroke should be taken to shady area.
- Cold water should should be sprayed on horses.
- Fluid therapy is required in extreme dehydrated horses.
