Orchitis is inflammation of horse testis.
Symptoms

• Hard swelling if scrotum
• Pain
• Warmness
• Increased temperature of testis
• Decreased semen quality and motility.

Causes

• Bacterial
• Virus
• Parasitic
• Auto immune

Prevention

Good horse management to prevent infections

Treatment

• Cold packs can be applied to reduce temperature
• NSAIDS can be used to reduce pain and swelling.
• Antibiotics can be given to control bacterial infections.
